OUR MISSION
BLEND (Businesses for Better Law Enforcement in the Northeast Division) serves this community as a non-profit organization, raising funds for the Youth Cadet Program that is led by Los Angeles Police Officers at the Northeast Division.
We believe in a world where every young person has the opportunity to succeed. Our goal is to empower them to become leaders and provide them with the tools they need to thrive in life. Join us in our mission to create a brighter future for the youth of our community.
OUR HISTORY
BLEND is a non profit support organization for the Northeast Police Station.
The mission of BLEND as stated earlier is to support the youth programs and the community out reach in the Northeast Police Station area.
It was originally started by the owners of Lawry's restaurant and with the assistance of Lawry's attorny at the time Richard John, the Organization was established in May 1972.
Blend continues to serve the community with Annual food drives, Toy giveaways, supporting the Cadet Program and Crime Preventing Initiatives for both residents and businesses. We encourage you to get involved by joining one of our membership levels as either a Resident, Business or Corporate level!
